After the highly successful and super fun inaugural Kids and Parents Capoeira Course, I'm pleased to invite you to join us on 1 March for our first course for 2015.
I learnt a lot when we ran our first course last year, and so I've made some minor tweaks to the program to ensure we’re not just meeting but exceeding your expectations!
This year I'll run a series of 8 week courses in May, August and November. Each course will take a maximum of 20 students, and all classes will be held on Sundays from 10-11am.
About the course
The Elements Kids and Parents Capoeira course provides a fun and inclusive exercise alternative for families.
Classes are taught by myself, and Aaron Pakula, a Capoeira instructor and qualified youth worker, and my wife, Jo Le, a Capoeirista with more than 10 year’s experience.
The purpose of the course is for kids and their parents to develop fundamental human movement skills, improve their strength, coordination and flexibility, and most importantly, have fun!
Students will have an opportunity to explore a range of kicks, escapes, basic acrobatics, music, Portuguese language, and Capoeira game play.
10am-11am, every Sunday from 1 March – 19 April 2015

Classes are designed to cater for students aged 5+, however we have had students as young as 2 participate and have fun!
