Client Conversations: Meet Sofia
This post is is the ninth in my new client conversations series. I’m lucky enough to train really diverse and interesting folk with all kinds of training goals, ambitions, professional backgrounds and life experiences. I’ll regularly feature an interview with a client on my blog, so you can get to know them! Meet Sofia
You in 25 words or less
Not nerdy enough for nerds; not chill enough for the kool kids. I love the rocky horror picture show and 80s jams. Small.
What’s on your playlist right now?
Can't say I keep to a theme/genre. You'll find a range of things permanently on my playlist from Kate Bush and Jurassic Five to Fleetwood Mac and Prince.
Why did you decide to start training with me?
Driven to achieve new things in the gym, but was never motivated enough to do it alone. Really valued your holistic approach to training - one that's not just focused on aesthetics and physique but centred around understanding how your body moves and changes through different types of training.
What are your big picture training goals?
I've got many, but realistically with the limited time I have to train, I think that a handstand and a muscle up on the rings are at the top of my list right now. Also...washboard abs...obviously.
Who inspires you?
Anyone who has endured hardship and who has come out the other side. Endurance inspires and motivates me.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about getting into training?
Even if you have training goals and objectives, be open to trying new things and being taught in new ways.
